Plant Supply Chain Manager I

Role Purpose

Key Responsibilities

• • Material Planning & Scheduling: Develop and manage daily and weekly material supply plans ensuring raw material availability to support production while optimizing inventory levels and resource allocation.
  • Raw Material Operations: Oversee and support operational activities related to material flow including receiving storage and line supply ensuring continuity and accuracy in supply processes.
  • Continuous Improvement: Analyze material planning and flow processes to identify inefficiencies and implement improvements that enhance availability reduce waste and optimize inventory.
  • Performance Management: Monitor team performance in material planning and supply execution ensuring timely delivery accuracy and adherence to quality standards.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Coordinate with suppliers production procurement and logistics teams to ensure alignment in material availability and demand fulfillment.
  • Health & Safety: Ensure compliance with HSE standards in all material handling storage and logistics activities.
  • Leadership & Direction: Lead and guide the material planning team aligning daily operations with plant objectives and supply chain strategy.
  • Data Analysis & Reporting: Collect and analyze material-related data (inventory shortages supplier performance) to support decision-making and improve planning accuracy.

Requirements

• Bachelors degree or equivalent in Supply Chain Logistics or related field.
• 36 years of experience in production planning or supply chain management.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Expertise in ERP systems production planning and resource optimization.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
• Analytical mindset with problem-solving skills.
