Plant Controller – Automotive (Querétaro, Mexico)

We are looking for a highly skilled Plant Controller to provide financial leadership at the plant level ensuring compliance with internal control systems while driving cost efficiency profitability and operational performance.

This role plays a key part in supporting operations through cost analysis financial reporting and business decision-making acting as a strategic partner for the plant and operations leadership.

Qualifications :

Education

• Bachelors degree in Finance Accounting Business Administration or Industrial Engineering.

Experience

• 57 years of experience in plant finance and cost accounting
• Proven experience in cost analysis financial reporting and month-end closing processes.
• Experience working closely with operations production and supply chain teams.
• Exposure to profitability improvement initiatives (EBIT optimization).

Specific Knowledge

• Strong knowledge of cost accounting and GAAP principles.
• Variance analysis (standard vs. actual costs) and cost control.
• Inventory management and production cost tracking.
• Financial reporting (P&L efficiency reports cost/kg sales analysis).
• Forecasting budgeting and financial planning.
• Systems knowledge:
  • SAP S4/Hana
  • Hyperion
  • Advanced Excel
