You are responsible for ensuring that projects are successfully completed on time and on budget. This includes project governance budget and timeline development build quality testing and operational readiness and the completed projects readiness to go live.
How you will contribute
You will:
- Drive consistency and quality in the execution of projects using the appropriate methodology and tools
- Identify assess and mitigate project-level risks and escalate them to global leads and/ or the program manager when needed
- Provide project reporting and status updates using scorecards status reports and monthly review meetings and leading stakeholder meetings
- Lead budget management resource planning and utilization
- Confirm the completion and consistency of projects and their readiness to go live
- Own the relationship with the external vendors including quality assurance in all phases of project delivery

More about this role
We are seeking an experienced and highly proactive Pilot Plant Engineering & Project Manager to lead critical engineering projects within our pilot plant operations. This role is pivotal in driving project execution ensuring adherence to schedules and budgets and managing key migration initiatives. The successful candidate will possess a strong engineering background exceptional project management skills and the ability to lead and collaborate effectively.
What you need to know about this position:
Oversee and manage complex engineering projects within the pilot plant ensuring timely delivery and successful completion.
Develop detailed project plans track progress against schedules and manage project scope effectively aiming for high completion rates (e.g. 70% advanced migration projects).
Responsible for project budget planning tracking and control ensuring financial objectives are met.
Identify assess and mitigate project risks and issues providing timely solutions.
Apply in-depth knowledge of plant issues to troubleshoot problems optimize processes and implement corrective actions.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of new processes and equipment.
Lead and motivate a team including external contractors ensuring clear direction and accountability.
Foster a collaborative environment promoting effective communication and problem-solving
Act as the primary point of contact for project stakeholders
Education / Certifications:
Bachelors degree in Engineering (e.g. Chemical Mechanical Industrial or related field) is required.
Job specific requirements:
Proven experience in project management within an industrial or manufacturing environment preferably with exposure to pilot plant operations. Demonstrated experience managing migration projects or similar complex engineering initiatives. Experience in budget management and cost control for projects.
