Job Summary
The Red Hat Consulting team is looking for an OpenShift AI Architect with deep expertise in Red Hat OpenShift AI MLOps practices and enterprise AI/ML this role you will act as a trusted technical leader across both pre-sales and delivery helping customers define and execute their AI transformation journey.
You will engage early in the sales cycle to understand customer needs shape solutions and support proposals. During delivery you will lead the architecture and implementation of OpenShift AI-based solutions ensuring alignment with business objectives data strategies and IT architectures.
By leveraging Red Hat OpenShift AI OpenShift hybrid cloud and MLOps practices you will help customers build scalable AI platforms accelerate model development and deployment improve governance and operationalization of AI workloads and drive business innovation.
What you will do:
- Engage in pre-sales activities including customer discovery sessions workshops and solution design
- Partner with Sales and Account teams to shape opportunities define scope and build compelling technical proposals
- Support RFP/RFI responses and present AI solutions to technical and executive stakeholders
- Assess customer AI data and infrastructure environments and propose scalable architectures
- Design and implement enterprise AI platforms based on Red Hat OpenShift AI and Red Hat OpenShift
- Lead MLOps adoption initiatives including model lifecycle management deployment automation monitoring and governance
- Architect solutions for model training fine-tuning serving and inference at scale
- Support customers in deploying and operationalizing Generative AI and Large Language Model (LLM) workloads
- Provide technical leadership during delivery ensuring alignment with architectural best practices
- Act as a trusted advisor to customers and partners helping define AI and platform roadmaps
- Collaborate with Product Engineering Consulting and Support teams to deliver high-quality solutions
- Drive adoption of MLOps DevOps automation and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) practices
- Contribute to internal knowledge sharing reusable assets and best practices
What you will bring:
- 8 years of experience in consulting platform engineering cloud architecture data platforms or enterprise infrastructure roles
- Proven experience in pre-sales or customer-facing roles supporting complex solution sales cycles
- Strong expertise in Red Hat OpenShift and Red Hat OpenShift AI
- Experience designing and implementing AI/ML platforms and MLOps workflows
- Knowledge of machine learning lifecycle management model deployment monitoring and governance
- Experience with Generative AI Large Language Models (LLMs) Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) and AI application architectures
- Familiarity with data science platforms AI frameworks and model serving technologies
- Experience with hybrid cloud architectures and container platforms
- Experience with automation and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Ansible and Terraform
- Solid understanding of enterprise infrastructure security networking and data architectures
- Strong communication and presentation skills including executive-level storytelling
- Ability to translate business objectives into AI and platform solutions
- Fluent in English (written and verbal)
- Red Hat certifications and AI/ML-related certifications are a plus
