MECHANICAL DESIGN ENGINEER

Engineer responsible of designing improving validating and release mechanical tooling for production processes machinery design machinery upgrade integration and implementation. May implement mechanical related projects at plant level suc as Cobots machine / process automation etc.

Machinery design and integration

Defines and updates the procedures in the plant to review and release tooling and fixtures. Defines the application of design requirements for tooling based in DMD directions. Administrates the mechanical drawing database. Provides technical support for the drawing database users. Machinery automation Machinery upgrades Machinery integration Machinery / Process improvements Drawings maintenance (updates and storage)

Qualifications :

• Profesional Degree
• Minimum 5 years of experience in Mechanical Design and/or Machining Shop related activities.
• Mechanical Design Software (Solidworks); using GD&T (Geometric dimensioning and tolerancing) and DFM (Design for Manufacturing).
• Knows the specifications and uses for machining materials and treatments.
• Customer oriented Analytic thinking structured working teamwork and pro-active.
• High responsibility and sense of urgency able to travel and support over in after hours if needed.
