Job Summary
To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth were looking to add a Materials Planning Manager located in Reynosa Site Mexico.
Reporting to the General Manager the Materials Planning Managers role will be responsible for leading all logistics import/export customs compliance warehousing transportation and supply chain execution activities for the Reynosa manufacturing operation. This role ensures uninterrupted material flow regulatory compliance cost competitiveness and exceptional customer service while leading a high-performing logistics organization.
What a typical day looks like:
Lead coach and develop a team of 10 logistics professionals including import/export specialists planners warehouse personnel and transportation coordinators.
Establish a culture of accountability continuous improvement and customer focus.
Develop succession plans and talent pipelines for key logistics positions.
Drive employee engagement training and performance management activities.
Ensure full compliance with:
IMMEX (Maquila) regulations
USMCA requirements
Mexican Customs regulations
SAT and Annex 24/30 requirements
CTPAT/OEA programs
Manage all cross-border transportation activities between Mexico the United States and global destinations.
Coordinate customs brokers freight forwarders and government agencies.
Ensure accurate customs documentation tariff classifications country-of-origin declarations and valuation requirements.
Serve as the site logistics leader and key user for SAP /4HANA.
Drive inventory accuracy warehouse management transactions inbound/outbound logistics execution and transportation visibility through SAP.
Lead process improvements leveraging SAP analytics and reporting tools.
Support system integrations and continuous improvement initiatives associated with logistics and supply chain processes.
Manage inbound supply chain activities with local and international suppliers.
Coordinate outbound shipments to customers while maintaining delivery performance targets.
Develop contingency plans to minimize disruptions caused by border crossings transportation shortages customs delays or supplier issues.
Collaborate closely with Planning Procurement Operations Finance and Customer Service teams.
The experience were looking to add to our team:
Advanced English
Bachelors degree in Supply Chain Logistics International Business or related field.
Direct experience in logistics and supply chain leadership experience in a manufacturing environment.
Experience with leading teams in a maquiladora operation.
Experience with SAP /4HANA.
Mexican Customs Law
Cross-border transportation
Automotive supply chain requirements
Experience managing local Mexican and international suppliers.
Fluent English and Spanish.
Strong analytical and financial acumen.
