Position Summary
The Materials Flow Engineer supports the design improvement and optimization of material movement across Polaris Monterrey operations. This role focuses on internallogistics lineside delivery packaging and container flow and the development of visual management tools. The engineer works crossfunctionally to ensure efficient part presentationaccurateinventory handling and alignment with production requirements.
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelors degree in Industrial Engineering Logistics ora relatedfield.
2 years of experience in manufacturing or materials flow.
Knowledge of lean manufacturing and continuousimprovement tools.
Experience with data analysis process mapping andlogisticsflow optimization.
Required Qualifications
Strong understanding of internallogisticsand materialflow principles.
Experience working with ERP systems and digital tools (Excel Power BI etc.).
Ability to collaborate with production planning warehouse andlogisticsteams.
Strong problemsolving skills and attention to detail.
Ability to document processes and support continuousimprovement efforts.
Position Overview
The Materials Flow Engineer designs and implements materialflow systems that support production efficiency and operational reliability. Key responsibilities include optimizing lineside delivery improving packaging and layout standards and developing visual aids for material presentation. The role analyzes data toidentifybottlenecks supports inboundlogisticsand internal distribution and ensures materialflow alignment with production schedules. The engineermaintainsdocumentation contributes to continuousimprovement initiatives and collaborates closely with crossfunctional teams to enhance the overall materialhandling strategy.
