We are currently searching for a DevOps Engineer (Java/Cloud):
Client Overview Our Client is a leading global technology company operating a massive large-scale distributed ecosystem.
The Challenge (Responsibilities)
- Drive the adoption of development services specifically Performance Engineering Continuous Integration Continuous Delivery and Collaboration amongst various delivery teams.
- Design and implement an effective and efficient CI/CD flow that transitions code from development to production with high quality and minimal manual effort.
- Work collaboratively across development operations and product teams to prioritize needs and build strong stakeholder relationships.
- Design analyze and troubleshoot large-scale distributed systems.
- Debug and optimize code and automate routine tasks to push the boundaries of what can be done with automation.
- Manage difficult situations and make critical decisions with a strong sense of urgency.
Your Profile (Requirements)
- BS degree in Computer Science or a related technical field involving coding (e.g. physics or mathematics) or equivalent practical experience.
- Solid experience in industry-standard CI/CD tools such as Git/BitBucket Jenkins Maven Artifactory Groovy and Chef.
- Extensive hands-on experience in cloud-based architecture preferably in Azure and PCF.
- Proven experience with Java J2EE WebServices (SOAP/REST) Spring/Spring Boot and Hibernate.
- Strong background in algorithms data structures scripting pipeline management and software design.
- Experience working within an Agile Development Environment.
- High-Performance Mindset: Resilience emotional intelligence and a focus on agile delivery.
- Technologist DNA: A deep understanding of the difference between coding and engineering.
Desired
- Experience with monitoring and containerization tools such as Splunk Dynatrace Docker and Kubernetes is a strong plus.
- Familiarity with cloud-native foundations or AI coding assistants.
Languages
- Advanced Oral English: For seamless collaboration with global teams.
- Advanced Spanish.
