Job Summary
Responsibilities
- Support and maintain existing products throughout their lifecycle.
- Investigate and resolve product manufacturing supplier and field-related technical issues.
- Lead Engineering Change Orders (ECOs) documentation updates and product modifications.
- Perform root cause analysis and implement corrective and preventive actions.
- Collaborate with Manufacturing and Quality teams to improve product reliability quality and cost efficiency.
- Support component obsolescence management and alternative part qualification.
- Drive cost reduction value engineering and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Evaluate and approve design changes while ensuring compliance with engineering standards.
- Support production lines by addressing technical concerns and minimizing operational disruptions.
- Maintain engineering documentation bills of materials (BOMs) drawings and specifications.
- Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering Electrical Engineering Industrial Engineering Manufacturing Engineering or related field.
- Experience supporting products in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong problem-solving and root cause analysis skills.
- Knowledge of engineering change management processes.
- Experience with CAD systems ERP/MRP platforms and engineering documentation.
- Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
