As a Manufacturing Excellence Consultant (WCM Consultant) you will work directly with customers to improve manufacturing performance through World Class Manufacturing (WCM) a holistic operational excellence methodology that integrates continuous improvement practices such as Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma. Your work will help customers reduce operational losses improve productivity strengthen organizational capabilities and deliver measurable business results.
This role combines consulting coaching training and project delivery. Working closely with customer leadership teams and plant personnel you will support the implementation of manufacturing excellence programs and help organizations build a strong culture of continuous improvement.
This is an exciting opportunity for a manufacturing professional who enjoys solving complex operational challenges driving change and creating visible impact within customer operations while collaborating with a global network of operational excellence experts.
You will be based in Aguascalientes Mexico.
You may be required to travel to customer sites up to 75% of your time across the region.
As a Manufacturing Excellence Consultant (WCM Consultant) you will:
- Deliver customer improvement programs using World Class Manufacturing (WCM) methodologies helping customers reduce operational losses and improve safety quality productivity and cost performance;
- Coach train and enable customer teams in Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) and manufacturing excellence practices building sustainable capabilities and supporting their broader operational transformation journey;
- Lead customer engagement and governance activities ensuring alignment on objectives monitoring progress and driving the successful delivery of agreed business outcomes;
- Support the implementation of Daily Management Systems (DMS) to strengthen performance management problem-solving and operational discipline;
- Partner with customers and internal stakeholders to identify improvement opportunities support the design and deployment of solutions and manage implementation risks;
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of consulting methodologies service delivery and knowledge sharing across the global WCM community.
- A degree in Chemical Engineering Industrial Engineering or a related field or equivalent practical experience;
- An MBA is desirable;
- Good communication skills in English and Spanish with Portuguese language skills considered a plus;
- Solid experience implementing World Class Manufacturing (WCM) Six Sigma and/or Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) methodologies preferably within manufacturing environments and multinational organizations;
- Experience selling consulting services or working in customer-facing consulting environments is considered a plus;
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills with a process-oriented mindset a strong focus on customer needs and the ability to work effectively in customer-facing and independent environments;
- Availability to travel up to 75% of the time.
