Logistics Specialist – Local

At FLSmidth we are looking for a Logistics Specialist Local to coordinate domestic transportation operations ensuring the safe timely and cost-effective delivery of equipment and spare parts. You will work closely with internal stakeholders and logistics partners contributing to operational excellence regulatory compliance and continuous improvement while supporting the mining industry.

Your responsibilities

• Coordinate domestic transportation operations ensuring on-time customer deliveries.
• Ensure compliance with company procedures HSE standards and Chilean regulations.
• Prepare and manage transportation documentation including delivery notes RMAs and scheduling.
• Coordinate carriers inspection companies warehouses and logistics providers.
• Monitor supplier performance through KPIs and support continuous improvement initiatives.
• Identify opportunities to optimize transportation costs and mitigate operational risks.
• Validate transportation-related supplier invoices and support procurement activities.
• Promote a strong safety culture and support HSEQA compliance across all logistics operations.

• Bachelors degree in Logistics Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in transportation and logistics.
• Experience coordinating domestic transportation operations.
• Knowledge of Chilean transportation regulations and HSE standards.
• Experience managing logistics documentation and supplier coordination.
• Strong analytical planning and problem-solving skills.
• Intermediate English proficiency.
• Mining logistics or oversized cargo experience is an advantage.
