Objective / Purpose of the Function:

Develop and apply Lean Management knowledge in areas of the company identifying and eliminating waste as much as possible. Develop and implement lean processes that are reliable and safe as well as improve existing processes in each area of the company.

Develop and execute a strategic plan to support and continuously improve knowledge skills and the learning environment in a medium-sized high-mix multinational engineering and manufacturing organization.

Desarrollar e implementar procesos esbeltos que sean confiables y seguros así como mejorar los procesos ya existentes en cada área de la empresa.

Desarrollar y ejecutar un plan estratégico para brindar apoyo y mejorar continuamente los conocimientos las habilidades y el entorno de aprendizaje en una organización multinacional de ingeniería y fabricación de tamaño mediano y alta mezcla.

Principal Responsibilities:

Principales Responsabilidades:

• Evaluate systematically using the VSM method to identify waste improvement opportunities metrics capable of measuring performance improvements and the impact of improvements in the companys processes including but not limited to the areas of Materials Logistics Processes Testing and Administrative Areas.
• Lead and train staff in Kaizen projects (continuous improvement) motivating staff through technical knowledge and conviction to develop a culture that always seeks continuous improvement.
• Conduct monthly audits of 6s.
• Design and implement Production methods that positively impact on the companys metrics (dashboards)
• Get directly involved with the self-directed teams project to develop the culture of continuous improvement in all aspects.
• Lead the CIP effort by actively participating in the evaluation of suggestions and supporting their implementation.
• Actively participate in the transfer of new products with the goal of transferring lean cells and improving them and of integrating Lean Manufacturing concepts from the beginning of the manufacture of new products even if these are not produced in a cell.
• Participate in all activities required by the Engineering departments when these are assigned by their superior or are directed to the direction that the company follows.
• May stop any manufacturing process when it does not meet the quality specifications required by the client.
• Be proactive in identifying and improving situations or conditions that affect the development of the company.
• Comply with the Health Safety and Environment Policy following the procedures and work instructions applicable to his/her activities for the participation in the established Objectives and Goals.

• Engineering degree or 2 years of experience in the position and electronics knowledge of Just in Time production systemsKnowledge of Process Management Systems - Glovia knowledge of Microsoft software (Excel Word PowerPoint Visio FVSM)Line balancing and capacity calculations Intermediate/ of Lean Manufacturing to analyze and solve of Production Systems and Plant and Introduction of New of process charts and assembly of value stream of Auto CAD Intermediate/ of ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 and understanding in Environmental & Quality Management Systems in their current versions (e.g. ISO ).Carrera de Ingeniería o afí 2 años mínimo en la posición e industria electró intermedio/avanzado en sistemas de producción Justo a Tiempo (Just in time)Conocimientos de Sistemas de administración de procesos - Glovia de de software de Microsoft intermedio/avanzado (Excel Word PowerPoint Visio FVSM)Balanceos de línea y cálculos de capacidad Intermedio/ de en las Herramientas de manufactura para el análisis y solución de ño de sistemas de Producción y Layout de ón de e Introducción de Nuevos Productos.
