Your Tasks
The Laboratory Auxiliary is responsible for supporting microbiology laboratory operations by preparing culture media laboratory materials and supplies required for microbiological testing. This role assists with microbiological sampling activities inventory management and laboratory equipment maintenance to ensure analyses are completed accurately efficiently and in compliance with quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the execution of microbiological sampling plans according to established procedures.
- Prepare and maintain adequate stock levels of culture media reagents and laboratory materials.
- Manage laboratory inventory and ensure availability of supplies required for testing activities.
- Assist microbiology laboratory personnel with routine laboratory operations and assigned activities.
- Support preventive maintenance activities for microbiology laboratory equipment.
- Maintain accurate documentation in accordance with Good Documentation Practices (GDP).
- Follow Good Laboratory Practices (GLP) safety requirements and quality standards at all times.
Your Profile
- High school diploma or Technical Degree in Laboratory Sciences Microbiology Biotechnology Chemistry or a related field.
- Previous laboratory experience is preferred.
- Basic knowledge of microbiological laboratory practices and quality standards.
- Understanding of Good Laboratory Practices (GLP) and Good Documentation Practices (GDP) is desirable.
- Availability to work rotating shifts across first second and third shifts.
- Availability to work a 6x2 rotating schedule with variable days off including weekdays and weekends.
- Strong organizational skills attention to detail and teamwork orientation.
