As our next IT Engineer you will be responsible for providing hands-on technical support and maintenance of IT infrastructure within an automotive manufacturing environment. This includes supporting end-user devices managing network and server hardware and ensuring the reliability and security of IT systems. The role requires strong troubleshooting skills a proactive mindset and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced on-site setting.

What Youll Be Doing

• Provide first- and second-level support for hardware software and network issues across the manufacturing facility.
• Install configure and maintain desktops laptops printers scanners and other IT equipment.
• Support infrastructure components including servers switches routers and wireless access points.
• Monitor system performance and respond to alerts and incidents in a timely manner.
• Assist with patch management backups and system updates.
• Maintain accurate documentation of IT assets configurations and support activities.
• Collaborate with corporate IT teams on infrastructure projects and system rollouts.
• Ensure compliance with cybersecurity policies and procedures.
• Provide technical guidance and training to end-users.
• Participate in on-call rotation and provide after-hours support as needed.
• Other duties as assigned.

What Were Looking For

• Associate degree in Information Technology Computer Science or related field; equivalent experience may be considered.
• Bachelors Degree preferred.
• 2 years of experience in IT support or infrastructure operations preferably in a manufacturing environment.
• Proficiency in Windows OS Microsoft Office Suite and basic networking concepts.
• Experience with Active Directory DNS DHCP and remote desktop tools.
• Familiarity with IT ticketing systems and ITIL practices.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
• Industry certifications (e.g. CompTIA A Network Microsoft Cisco) are a plus.

Bonus Points If You Have

• Industry certifications such as CompTIA A Network Microsoft or Cisco
• Experience with CMDB or IT asset management tools
• Exposure to cybersecurity or compliancedriven IT environments

Physical & Work Environment Requirements

• Ability to lift and carry up to 40 lbs
• Frequent walking standing bending and equipment handling
• Manual dexterity for working with cables tools and small components
• Comfortable working in manufacturing plants including production areas and server rooms

Safety Requirements

• Compliance with all company safety and cybersecurity policies
• Use of appropriate PPE when working in production or technical areas
• Participation in safety training and prompt reporting of hazards or incidents
