We are seeking exceptional internationally based design talent to grow with us in a highly collaborative remote production capacity.
This role is well-suited for a highly technical Hospitality Interior Designer located in Latin America who excels at remote execution and wishes to collaborate directly with a fast-paced US-based design team.
In this position you will support multiple phases of our hospitality projects helping bring creative concepts to life through accurate design documentation. The ideal candidate brings a strong technical background advanced skills in Revit and a collaborative mindset focused on design excellence and workflow efficiency.
- Design Development: Contribute to hospitality design projects across multiple phases from initial concept development through construction documentation.
- Presentation Assets: Develop presentation materials and client-facing decks using Adobe InDesign.
- Design Documentation: Produce complete interior design documentation packages including plans elevations millwork details and schedules.
- FF&E Specifications: Develop and maintain thorough Furniture Fixtures and Equipment (FF&E) specifications using DesignSpec or similar software.
- Modeling & Drafting: Create precise interior drawings and project models primarily using Revit with supporting work in AutoCAD.
- Review & Coordination: Review incoming manufacturer shop drawings and consultant submittals to ensure design intent is maintained.
- Workflow Innovation: Leverage digital and AI-assisted tools to improve efficiency visualization or documentation workflows where appropriate.
- Professional Experience: Proven track record as a professional interior designer with a specific background in hospitality or lifestyle environments.
- Software Skills: Advanced proficiency in Revit for interior design is required supplemented by a working knowledge of AutoCAD for documentation.
- Adobe Creative Suite: Ability to create rendered floor plans and elevations for presentation materials using Adobe Photoshop and InDesign.
- FF&E Coordination: Familiarity with formatting FF&E specifications vendor tracking and the shop drawing review process.
- Remote Collaboration: Comfort operating as an independent contractor across time zones utilizing digital communication tools to stay aligned with a distributed team.
- Tech Adaptability: Openness to exploring and using new digital tools including AI applications to enhance design workflows and productivity.
- Background working within hospitality-focused design studios.
- Experience collaborating with US-based clients teams or consultants.
- Familiarity with construction documentation standards for commercial interiors.
- Exposure to Bluebeam or similar digital markup tools.
- Clear written verbal and visual English communication skills.
- Strong organizational abilities with the capacity to manage multiple design deadlines.
- High level of attention to detail across drawings tags and specifications.
- Proactive self-directed approach to work with openness to receiving iterative design feedback.
