Human Resources Business Partner

Job Summary
Provide direct consultation and support for employee relations & engagement compliance with policies & procedures manager & employee development compensation benefits and other HR initiatives
Coach leaders through change management and performance management issues including guidance through performance improvement plans and terminations
Investigate and address all employee relations issues including harassment allegations work complaints workplace injuries leaves of absence etc
Partner with leadership and all of HR to give and receive feedback on strategies and programs to effectively meet the needs of the business
Schedule and conduct new employee on-boarding orientations; conduct subsequent check-ins with new hires under 90 days to give and receive feedback and ensure their success
Process new-hire paperwork including I-9 verification; enter data in to HRIS; maintain personnel files related to hiring leaves transfers promotions and terminations; conduct verifications of employment
Degree in Human Resources Management or related field preferred
Minimum of 5 years of experience in Human Resources
HR experience in a mortgage or financial services organization a plus
HR certification preferred
Experience working in HRIS system
Strong business acumen
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Highly organized and strong attention to detail
Ability to handle competing priorities and deadlines
Must maintain a high level of confidentiality
Professional demeanor and attire
Proficient in Microsoft Office
Available to travel up to 25%
