Position Summary
The Project Manager Group Lead will head a team of Project Managers (Senior and Junior) to ensure the timely execution and flawless completion of all incoming projects for an assigned client portfolio.
This role provides oversight technical leadership and day-to-day management to ensure client expectations related to SLAs and quality are met on all jobs. The successful candidate will work closely with the Production Quality and Commercial teams optimizing operational workflows managing workforce distribution and mentoring staff within a fast-paced print and packaging production environment.
CRITICAL REQUIREMENT (NON-NEGOTIABLE)
Advanced Conversational English is the most important requirement for this role. Candidates who do not possess a fluent advanced conversational level of English will not be considered.

Essential Responsibilities Accountabilities & Results
To provide superior project management leadership and service excellence in coordination with the regional leadership teams:
Team Leadership & Workforce Management
Lead mentor and coach a team of Senior and Junior PMs for assigned accounts driving engagement and motivation.
Manage workforce planning including workload distribution account assignment and headcount management.
Evaluate team members based on performance KPIs lead training/coaching for bottom performers and identify development opportunities.
Ensure proper training and onboarding support is provided for new hires and during the transition of new accounts/brands/processes.
Project & Operations Oversight
Oversee and monitor the flawless execution of critical key programs and day-to-day activities ensuring work meets the highest level of quality and tight deadlines.
Serve as a core liaison and establish clear rules of engagement between the PM team operations clients and commercial teams.
Ensure strict implementation of corporate standards related to workflow folder structure briefing and system usage compliance.
Maintain update and align PM SOPs and workflows with Global Standards.
Escalation & Continuous Improvement
Manage escalations related to quality or SLA compliance in collaboration with operations and commercial teams ensuring timely resolution based on root cause analysis.
Identify process improvement opportunities within the PM team applying lean principles to improve process flow efficiency and overall team productivity.
Participate in CAR (Corrective Action Request) investigations and utilize client-appointed systems to record quality checks.
Perform other ad-hoc duties and tasks as required by the Production Manager Regional Director or site leadership.
Specifications & Skills
An individual who has:
Advanced Conversational English (Mandatory).
Exceptional project management skills from conception to completion.
Strong leadership capabilities with a proven track record of driving staff engagement.
A problem-solving mindset results-driven attitude and critical attention to detail.
Excellent verbal written and presentation communication skills with the ability to effectively manage internal and external stakeholders.
Ability to work under pressure handle tight deadlines and adapt to a fast-paced environment.
Solid print and packaging knowledge spanning different processes (Flexo Offset Gravure etc.) is highly preferred.
High proficiency in MS Office Suite Outlook and project management tools.
Internal & External Communications
This person will have frequent contact with:
Clients & Commercial Teams: To manage expectations handle escalations and maintain proactive relationships.
Internal Operations Production and Quality Teams: To coordinate workflows align on SLAs and resolve production issues.
Assigned PM Team Members: To provide daily direction coaching and performance management.
Regional & Site Management: For reporting escalation and alignment on operational and business goals.
Educational & Experience Minimum Requirements
Status: Must be a current internal employee.
Language Ability: Advanced conversational fluency in English is mandatory. Professional fluency in Spanish or Portuguese is also required depending on the region.
Academic Qualification: Associate or Bachelors Degree in Business Graphic Arts Print/Packaging Production or a related field.
Experience:
5 years of experience in a leadership or supervisory role preferably within the packaging or graphics industry.
Proven experience managing client portfolios and leading project management teams.
