If you are an experiencedProcurement or Supply Chain Professionallooking for an opportunity to grow Copeland has an exciting opportunity for you! Based in Mexico (Saltillo Reynosa Monterrey and Chihuahua) you will lead a global team of Commodity Managers and develop and implementCapitalProcurement strategies. This role includes managing category strategies across all Copeland locations globally controlling costs and identifying new savings opportunities ensuring supplier performance and aligning procurement activities with the overall business objectives.
- Develop and implement global Procurement Strategies forCapitalCommodity Categories in alignment with the companys overall business goals and stakeholder priorities.
- Lead cross-functional teams to develop and execute spending strategies (incl. e-sourcing RFI RFP RFQ and negotiations) identify cost-saving opportunities drive process efficiency and mitigate risks.
- Leverage global contracts and negotiate favorable terms manage supplier relationships and ensure compliance with all regulatory and environmental requirements
- Establish goals to improve trade workingcapitalwith increased payment terms lower inventory and shorter lead times.
- Identify potential supply chain risks and develop contingency plans to mitigate them
- Lead mentor and develop a team of Indirect Commodity Managers while fostering a high-performance culture of continuous improvement innovation and collaboration
- Set clear goals and KPIs for the team and ensure accountability for results
- Monitor and analyze supply chain performance metrics report on supply chain performance and savings pipeline to senior management providing insights and recommendations.
- Collaborate with stakeholders across the organization including operations finance legal and IT to ensure alignment and integration across the supply chain
- Manage the impact of global events such as capacity shifts market shifts natural disruptions and social/political impacts on the supply chain.
- Ensure compliance with procurement policies and relevant legal ethical and risk requirements.
- Bachelors degree.
- 8 years of experience in Operations Supply Chain management or related areas.
- 3 years in a leadership role.
- Category experience inCapitalcategories in an industrial manufacturing company.
- Proven experience in developing and implementing supply chain strategies that drive operational excellence.
- Strong understanding of procurement processes contract law supplier relationship management and supply chain technologies
- Problem-solving mindset with the ability to navigate ambiguity assess risk and drive strategy in a structured manner.
- Exceptional leadership and team management skills with a track record of leading high-performing teams incl. geographically dispersed teams.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills and professional presentation skills.
- Ability to travel to Copeland locations/suppliers domestically and globally up to 10% of your time.
- English and Spanish proficiency.
- Masters degree in supply chain management Engineering Business or related field.
- Previous role with a global scope.
- Technically proficient in reading architectural and mechanical drawings and writing detailed scopes of work.

This role is hybrid eligible with the requirement to be in office at least three days per week. Colleagues are expected to demonstrate a collaboration first mindset which is the understanding that teams will work together in-person and colleagues should be flexible to adjust their hybrid days based on business needs.
