German Language Teacher in México City (Polanco)

Join the Global LT community and help provide language lessons to business professionals and their families worldwide. We are currently hiring a GermanLanguage Teacher (DaF) to provide in-personlessons to our client in México City.

Job Information:

• Ref. # 200004. The student is an adult female who has recently moved from Germany to México.

• Location: Lessons are to be held at the students home in Polanco CDMX11550 (Av. Galileo near Av. Horacio).

• Preferred start date: September 1st.

Details:

• Availability:Monday to Thursday between 8 am and 2pm.

• Lesson Frequency: Two times per week.

• Current German level: Intermediate to be assessed by teacher.

• Native language: Turkish; also speaks English.
  
• Studentslanguage needs and goals: Talking about different topics (hobbies culture politics sport business etc.) and improving vocabulary. Lessons should focus on building vocabulary practising pronunciation and local accents learning common phrases native speakers use every day conversations with native speakers sharing feedback and opinions job-related vocabulary. She would like to have structured lesson where she knows the topics for next class. She would also like the teacher to be prepared and have a summary of each lesson. She doesnt like spontaneous classes where the teacher is not prepared.
  
• Additional information: Interested in yoga pilates photography and stock exchange.

Responsibilities:

• Delivering tailored dynamic effective and engaging lessons

• Developing curricula based on learners proficiency level and desired outcomes

• Monitoring students progress and guiding learners toward learning goals

• Communicating in an efficient effective and professional manner

Qualifications:

• Native or near-native written and spoken proficiency in German

• Degree or certification in language teaching education instructional design writing language linguistics second language acquisition or related field

• Minimum of two years of German (DaF) teaching experience
