Were looking for aFull Stack Software Engineerto own backend and frontend development in Claras Collections squad. Youll build features end-to-end from data models and APIs to the interfaces our customers and internal teams use. This is a high-ownership role: you wont wait for a ticket to tell you what to do; youll identify gaps propose solutions and ship.
- Design and implement backend services inJava Spring Boot with a focus on financial flows (payments collections reconciliation)
- Build and maintain frontend interfaces inReact TypeScript youre comfortable owning a feature across both layers
- Model data and managePostgreSQLandRedisfor transactional and caching needs
- Work withevent-driven architectures(Kafka or similar) in a distributed microservices environment
- Build and secureRESTful APIsfor internal and external consumption
- UseAI coding tools (Claude Code Copilot Cursor)as a default part of your workflow we expect this not just welcome it
- Collaborate with your Pod Lead and PM to translate product needs into technical decisions and push back when something doesnt make sense
- 35 years of backend development experience inJava includingSpring Boot
- Hands-on experience withReactandTypeScript youve shipped real UI not just tutorials
- Solid understanding ofPostgreSQLand distributed systems fundamentals
- Experience withCI/CD Docker Git and cloud platforms (AWS preferred)
- AI-augmented development is how you work you use AI tools daily to write review and debug code; you can speak concretely about how its changed your output
- You identify whats missing before someone asks proactive not reactive
- Working proficiency inEnglish and Spanish
- Experience withKafkaRabbitMQ or other message brokers
- Background infinancial services payments or fintech domain ramp is real; prior exposure matters
- Experience inKubernetesand production observability
- Youve built something side project open source internal tool that youre proud of and can walk us through

Claridians in a hybrid mode split their time between working from the office talking to or visiting customers or working from home. This hits a balance between bringing people together for in-person collaboration and learning from each other while supporting flexibility about how to do this in a way that makes sense for each individual and team.
We dont enforce a minimum number of days for most roles but youre expected to spend time at the office organically and be at the office most days during your ramp-up or when required by your leader.
