Job Summary
Were looking for a skilled and passionate DevOps Engineer with deep expertise in analytical skills to drive strategic initiatives optimize processes and ensure we continue to deliver innovative data-driven solutions.
Responsibilities
As a Junior DevOps Engineer you will support the team in building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines automating deployments and managing cloud infrastructure on AWS.
You will work alongside senior engineers and development teams contributing to day-to-day operations while growing your expertise in GitHub Actions Jenkins and AWS. The ideal candidate is eager to learn has foundational knowledge of DevOps practices and is ready to take ownership of tasks with guidance.
Key Responsibilities
Assist in building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions and Jenkins.
Support the management of cloud infrastructure on AWS under the guidance of senior engineers.
Help automate infrastructure provisioning using Terraform CloudFormation or similar tools.
Contribute to improving deployment processes monitoring and security practices.
Collaborate with developers and senior team members to support application performance and reliability.
Assist with containerization and orchestration tasks (Docker Kubernetes).
Help monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues escalating where needed.
Document processes configurations and runbooks.
Qualifications :
- 12 years of experience in DevOps Cloud or related fields
Foundational understanding of CI/CD concepts and tools such as GitHub Actions or Jenkins.
Exposure to AWS services (EC2 S3 IAM etc.).
Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) concepts (Terraform CloudFormation) is a plus.
Good scripting skills (Python Bash or similar).
Awareness of monitoring and logging tools (CloudWatch Prometheus Grafana or similar).
Eagerness to learn security best practices for cloud and DevOps environments.
Strong problem-solving attitude and willingness to work in a fast-paced collaborative environment.
Preferred Qualifications
Exposure to Azure or GCP in addition to AWS.
Basic familiarity with Docker or Kubernetes.
Relevant certifications (e.g. AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner AWS Solutions Architect Associate).
Coursework bootcamp or personal projects demonstrating DevOps interest.
Understanding of version control (Git) and collaborative workflows.
