EY GDS Mexico Senior Data Engineer

EY GDS is actively recruiting an accomplished Data Engineer to join our team. We are looking for an expert with rich experience designing building and maintaining data products and at scale ensuring data quality high performance processing and serving data ready for Business Analytics and Machine Learning models.

Successful candidate will work closely withclient stakeholders(business and technical)assessing their currentdata solutionsandprocessestoprovide insights and better practiceswhile implementing data solutionsbringing consultancy mindsets and demonstrating strong flexibility to adapt to differentcloud platforms and tools.

AsData Engineer you will not only collaborate withclient stakeholdersbut also work closely withdifferent other roles such asproduct owners scrum mastersdata analystsand data engineersformingpart ofa multi-disciplinary team.

Responsibilities:

• Design build and maintain data products andsystems for collecting storing and processing data at scale ensuring data quality high performance processing and serving data ready for Business Analytics and Machine Learning models.

• Collaborate with stakeholders product owner and or/analyst to translate the client needs toactionable insights enabling organizations to make data driven decisionsthrough implementation.

• Adhere and/or document and Implementdevelopmentbestpracticesmethodologies techniquesand technologiesforETL/ELTnear real time and real timeprocessingas well asdata servingbased on the business use cases.

• Ensurethe quality and performance of deliverables by applying QA to the components.

• Automate theintegration and delivery through DevOps tools

Desired Experience:

• A Minimum of4years of experience asDataEngineerimplementing solutions on Databricks on AWS/Azure(Must).

• A Minimum of1years of experience asData Engineer implementing solutions on Databricks on AWS/Azure(Nice to Have)

• Proven experiencedefining and implementingwide enterprise data solutions.

• Hands-on experienceimplementingDataWarehouseDataLake Lakehouse solutions(Databricks is a must).

• Hands-on experiencecreating report/dashboard/KPIs with any of next BI tools:PowerBI Tableau.

• Proven experienceintegrating data product solutionswith Data Cataloging Data Lineage and Master Data Management tools.

• Proven experienceimplementing best practices techniques and/or tools to ensure the quality security and performance of thesolutions.

• Experience working with CI/CD strategies and tools.

Requirements:

• A Bachelors orMasters Degree in ComputersoftwareengineerData scienceor a related field.

• Strong proficiencywithdatabricksin AWS(jobs notebooks delta tables unity catalog etc.)

• Strong proficiency withengineeringconceptsstandardsstrategiesand tools

• Strong proficiency with Data Modeling storagepartitioning optimization

• Strong proficiency with cloud platformsservices (AWS and/or Azure).

• Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.

• A consulting mindset with the capacity and enthusiasm to learn and implement new technologies.
