We are seeking a caring enthusiastic and proactiveTeaching Assistant to join our team in campus Chipinque supporting teaching and learning. The successful candidate will work closely with class teachers to create a safe engaging and positive learning environment that promotes curiosity independence and wellbeing.
- Support class teachers in delivering engaging inclusive and child-centred learning experiences.
- Work with individuals and small groups to reinforce learning and support progress.
- Help create and maintain a stimulating well-organised and inclusive classroom environment.
- Promote positive behaviour emotional wellbeing and social development using supportive approaches.
- Assist in observing recording and sharing student progress with teaching staff.
- Support pupils with additional learning needs where required.
- Supervise pupils during break times lunch school trips and events.
- Assist with preparation of learning materials classroom displays and resources.
- Contribute to classroom routines transitions and day-to-day organisation.
- Uphold safeguarding behaviour and child protection policies at all times.
- Relevant experience working with children ideally in a school or educational setting.
- Strong understanding of safeguarding child protection and professional conduct expectations in schools.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build positive relationships with children staff and parents.
- A warm patient and proactive approach with high expectations for pupil behaviour and engagement.
- Flexibility and a collaborative mindset with willingness to support across a range of classroom and school activities.
- Ability to support learning effectively in both group and one-to-one settings including behaviour and classroom management.
- Experience in an international or diverse school environment (desirable).
- Additional language skills relevant to the school location (advantageous but not essential).
