Engineering and Maintenance Manager

As Engineering & Maintenance Manager you will lead the safe and efficient operation of our Monterrey chemical blending site while accelerating performance and capability growth. You will oversee day-to-day operations and critical capital investment projects championing continuous improvement and driving measurable gains in reliability productivity and cost efficiency.

Partnering closely with key stakeholders you will build coach and develop a high-performing team of nine colleaguesstrengthening technical expertise fostering a culture of continuous learning and developing future leadersultimately delivering sustained operational excellence and long-term site growth.

Tasks

What will You Do

• Lead and oversee the Engineering & Maintenance function for the site
• Manage and develop a team of 9 colleagues (engineering facilities and technicians)
• Drive a preventive maintenance culture to ensure equipment reliability
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives related to Maintenance and Facilities
• Manage external vendors including site security and service providers
• Participate in investment planning and CapEx strategy
• Lead capital projects end-to-end (budget timeline execution)
• Monitor and optimize departmental costs and KPIs
• Champion a strong safety culture and safe working environment

Requirements

What Are We Looking For

Education: Degree in chemical mechanical electrical industrial engineering or related field

Experience: At least 3 years of experience in a similar role leading a team and ideally in the manufacturing sector within a multinational company.

• Proven experience leading capital projects and equipment installation
• Vendors & contractors management
• Knowledge of safety regulations and compliance

• Continuous improvement methodologies
• Project management
