Job Description
Lead and manage all EHSSS (Environment Health Safety Security and Sustainability) aspects of the plant ensuring consistent positive performance and compliance with company regulatory and operational requirements

General Environmental Health & Safety work encompasses activities related to the environment including the broader community impacted by environmental hazards including:

  • Developing and implementing environmental health and safety programs processes and procedures
  • Developing maintaining and improving an environmental accident and investigation process to identify root causes and perform corrective actions
  • Delivering training learning and development requirements to employees
  • Ensuring the organization is fully compliant with all legislative and organization requirements for safeguarding the environment while protecting lives and assets
  • Maintaining relationships with the community environmental groups and other stakeholders impacted by the environmental performance of the organization
Responsibilities
Ensure compliance with EHSS and Sustainability legal requirements.
Lead implementation of Lear EHSSS initiatives standards and protocols.
Manage CTPAT compliance and site security systems including CCTV.
Maintain ISO 14001 ISO 45001 and Clean Industry certifications.
Conduct risk assessments lead incident investigations ergonomics projects metrics tracking waste management EHSS training committees sustainability initiatives cost reductions and daily facility inspections.

Education Requirements

Industrial Engineering Enviromental Engineering or Industrial Safety Engineering.

Experience Requirements

5 years of experience in similar positions.
Advanced english level is a MUST.
