We are looking for a Sales Engineer who thrives at the intersection of deep technical expertise and strategic business thinking someone who can translate complex challenges into elegant high-impact solutions.

About the Role

As a Sales Engineer for our Cloud Protection & Licensing (CPL) portfolio you will serve as the trusted technical advisor for our account teams and customers across LATAM. From the earliest stages of discovery through proof-of-value you will design tailored architectures lead compelling demonstrations and position Thaless solutions as the clear answer to our customers most pressing application security and data protection challenges.

This is a role for someone who is equally comfortable in a boardroom and a technical deep-dive someone who builds credibility fast and turns complex concepts into clear business value.

What Youll Do

• Lead the technical sales cycle Own discovery RFP/RFI responses solution design product demos and proof-of-value engagements from start to finish.

• Communicate with impact Translate complex technical concepts into clear business-focused narratives tailored for both technical audiences and C-suite stakeholders.

• Build lasting relationships Develop trusted partnerships with engineering teams IT leaders and executive decision-makers across customer organizations.

• Design tailored solutions Architect customized approaches that directly address each customers unique security and compliance challenges.

• Collaborate cross-functionally Partner closely with Product Business Development and Customer Success teams to ensure seamless solution delivery and an outstanding customer experience.

• Stay ahead of the industry Continuously monitor market trends competitive landscape and emerging technologies to keep Thaless solutions positioned at the cutting edge.

What Were Looking For

Required:

• 5 years of experience in pre-sales roles within cybersecurity enterprise software networking or security.

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science Engineering or a related field.

• Hands-on experience with WAF Bot Management or DDoS solutions.

• Strong communication and presentation skills in both English (B2) and Spanish.

• Practical experience with cloud and containerization platforms: AWS Azure GCP Kubernetes and Docker.

• Knowledge of Hardware Security Modules (HSMs) Web Application Security or Security/Cloud/Networking certifications.

• Familiarity with compliance frameworks such as PCI SOX and HIPAA.

Hybrid Position Polanco CDMX.

Frequent international travel within Mexico & LATAM required.

Mexican citizenship or valid work permit required.
