We are looking for the a Cost Engineer for the Propulsion team.
- Participate in Cost estimation and should cost for components analyzing material manufacturing process labor and machine rates tooling and other aspects of the component.
- Analyze and validate supplier and buyers quotations by comparing internal cost models and should cost.
- Evaluate cost impact of engineering changes.
- Create and maintain cost tracking reports and graphs for components across multiple vehicle programs.
- Collaborate cross functionally with engineering and purchasing to ensure cost alignment.
- Bachelor in Engineering (preferably Automotive related)
- MInimum 3 years of experience in cost/technical engineering OEM or Tier 1 background
- Knowledge of design manufacturing and cost analysis
- Technical knowledge in at least one of the following areas:
- TRANSMISSIONS (Assembly Casting machining forging grinding mechanics)
- DRIVELINES (Axles Transfer case Assembly Casting machining forging)
- INTERNAL COMBUSTION ENGINE (Casting Engine block oil pan cylinder head)
- Advanced MS Office (Excel Power Point Word)
- Advanced English Communication both spoken and written.
