Commodity Manager Capex

Vertiv is looking for a results-driven Commodity Manager to own $50M$100M in annual Capex & facilities spend driving strategic sourcing supplier negotiations and measurable cost savings across manufacturing sites in the Americas.

What Youll Do

• Lead end-to-end Capex procurement: strategy RFx negotiation and contracting
• Develop and execute category strategies aligned to cost timeline and business goals
• Leverage analytics market intelligence and cost modeling to identify savings and efficiency opportunities
• Build and manage supplier relationships for performance continuity and competitive pricing
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver critical projects on time and on budget

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in industrial engineering International Business or related
• 4 years of experience in procurement sourcing or category management
• Experience managing or supporting multi-million-dollar ($10M) Capex or indirect spend categories
• Proven ability to deliver measurable results (cost savings cost avoidance cash flow impact)
• Skilled in strategic sourcing RFx supplier negotiations and spend analytics

Preferred Qualifications

• Manufacturing/industrial procurement experience
• Procurement of production equipment or capital projects
• Bilingual English/Spanish
• Experience in a fast-paced deadline-driven environment
• Strong communication collaboration and problem-solving skills
