We are looking for a Cloud Engineer to join the Hyperscaler Cloud Account Management team within the IPE&D Hyperscaler Engineering group at SAP. This team works closely with our internal lines of business to support the execution of SAPs cloud strategy and enable the reliable secure and efficient operation of SAP solutions across hyperscaler cloud environments.
What youll do
Support SAPs hyperscaler environments acrossGCPensuring services operate reliably securely and efficiently.
Deliver exceptional operational support and cloud engineering services to SAPs cloud solution areas.
Develop maintain and improve CI/CD pipelines automation frameworks and deployment tooling to enable scalable and repeatable cloud operations.
Design implement and manage cloud infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and automation best practices.
Collaborate closely with engineering operations and platform teams to build integrate test and deploy cloud solutions that support SAPs strategic cloud initiatives.
Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure and platform issues while contributing to continuous improvement of reliability security and operational excellence.
What you bring
3 years of experience working with public cloudplatforms like Azure AWS and GCP including cloud infrastructure networking security and operational support.
Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform CloudFormation or similar) and automation using scripting languages such as Python Bash or PowerShell.
Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation preferably using GitHub Actions or similar platforms.
Strong understanding of version control systems code review processes and engineering best practices.
Familiarity with Agile methodologies and experience working within Agile teams.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues and drive continuous improvement.
Customer-focused mindset with a proactive approach to learning collaboration and working effectively within a globally distributed team environment.
