CASE MANAGER
ABOUT THE CLIENT

Were a Beverly Hills-based personal injury law firm representing accident and injury victims across California. The firm handles cases spanning auto accidents premises liability catastrophic injury and wrongful death all on a contingency basis no fee unless the client wins. Were is known for aggressive trial-ready advocacy: rather than settle early for less the firm builds cases toward litigation when thats what it takes to secure the right outcome for the client.

ROLE OVERVIEW

Were hiring a Case Manager to independently run pre-litigation personal injury files from start to finish. This is not a support role: once a case lands on your desk its yours treatment communication valuation and disbursement all the way to close. The attorney should be able to hand you a case without knowing the clients name and trust its being handled correctly and proactively stepping in only when something genuinely needs their attention.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Independently manage a full caseload of pre-litigation personal injury files from opening through settlement and disbursement

  • Set clients up with appropriate medical treatment and monitor treatment progress throughout the case

  • Evaluate and track case value as treatment and evidence develop

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients with proactive clear and responsive communication at every stage

  • Prepare files for demand and coordinate with the attorney on strategy for higher-value or complex cases

  • Manage disbursements accurately at case close

  • Flag cases that need to move to litigation or require attorney involvement with full context already prepared

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE & SKILLS

  • Non-negotiable honesty and integrity; good-faith mistakes are never held against you but dishonesty is disqualifying

  • Track record of owning work end-to-end with minimal oversight; once something is handed off it gets done without follow-up or reminders

  • 2 years of hands-on experience in California personal injury law specifically not general PI or other practice areas

  • Demonstrated experience managing a full caseload independently without close supervision

  • Fluent polished spoken and written English with a neutral accent; clients should not be able to identify you as based overseas

  • Strong grasp of case valuation and treatment coordination in a plaintiff-side PI practice

  • Excellent client communication and relationship management skills


IDEAL CANDIDATE PROFILE

This role calls for someone who treats a caseload like its their own book of business: organized ahead of every deadline and comfortable making judgment calls without running every decision up the chain. Youre direct and honest with clients even when the update isnt what they want to hear and youre just as comfortable coordinating treatment as you are talking through case value. You dont need to be checked on because its already handled.
