Come Drive Innovation with Us. We are currently looking for a CAPEX NNA Specialist to join our team in Aguascalientes.
A Day in the Life:
- Coordinate medium- and long-term investment planning (3 5 and 10 years) across Nissan Regional functional areas.
- Manage the annual CAPEX budget to ensure optimal and timely utilization including cash flow management.
- Evaluate investment initiatives and cost-reduction projects using financial tools such as NPV ROI and Payback.
- Monitor project execution schedules and milestones through Gantt charts and collaboration with functional teams.
- Develop project structures and detailed WBS (budget line items) within SAP.
- Manage CAPEX budget assignments and adjustments through SAP.
- Lead CAPEX vs. OPEX reviews to support appropriate investment decisions.
- Generate CAPEX payment reports variance analyses and executive presentations for management.
- Validate budgets review business justifications approve purchase requests and follow up on PO creation through Zycus.
- Conduct on-site reviews to monitor project progress payment milestones and capitalization readiness.
- Support fixed asset capitalization and investment control processes through documentation audits and financial reviews.
- Collaborate effectively with Finance Accounting Procurement and cross-functional stakeholders to achieve business objectives.
Who Were Looking For
Required:
Education: Bachelors Degree in Industrial Engineering Actuarial Science Business Administration Finance or related field.
Experience: 12 years of experience in Finance Investment Control CAPEX Management Accounting Business Analysis or related areas.
Skills & Qualifications:
- Advanced Excel including macros and automation.
- Intermediate to advanced SAP experience preferably SAP PRD module.
- Knowledge of project management tools such as Smartsheet Asana or Salesforce.
- Power BI reporting and data visualization.
- Financial analysis and investment evaluation (NPV ROI Payback).
- Strong interpersonal communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Team collaboration and cross-functional coordination.
- Strong analytical and numerical problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in digital tools to improve efficiency and process control.
- Organized proactive and results-oriented mindset.
- Travel: 15% National Travel
- English: Intermediate
Desired:
- Experience with CAPEX planning budgeting and investment control processes.
- Knowledge of fixed asset capitalization depreciation and accounting controls.
- Experience preparing executive-level financial reports and presentations.
- Exposure to manufacturing or automotive industry environments.
- Experience collaborating with Finance Procurement Accounting and Operations teams.
- Knowledge of resource optimization and continuous improvement methodologies.
- Experience using SAP for budgeting reporting and investment management.
- Ability to manage multiple projects while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.
