To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth we are looking to add aBusiness Excellence Leaderlocated inGuadalajara North Site.The role of theBusiness Excellence Leaderinvolves being responsible for continuously driving a culture of excellence in the organization and enabling waste elimination activities using Lean and Six Sigma approaches and tools guiding actions toward a sustainable conclusion.
What a typical day looks like
- Work as a change agent and drive the Lean and Six Sigma activities defined in GBE A3.
- Apply and implement Flex Lean Enterprise values throughout the organization.
- Responsible for eliminating waste and creating value by reducing process variation to achieve sustainable results throughout the organization and segment.
- Utilize Continuous Improvement (Kaizen) techniques initiate process improvements cycle time reductions cost reductions and other activities aimed at reducing/eliminating activities that do not add value to the process.
- Create and validate processes/standards based on standard work and BPs.
- Identify drive and execute Yokoten Kaizen projects based on best practices within agreed timelines.
- Lead Industrial Engineering Lean and Six Sigma training and accelerate the deployment of Lean culture throughout the organization through coaching and facilitation of Lean Continuous Improvement implementation.
- Participate actively in the selection and execution of Lean and Six Sigma projects.
- Transformation (90-day continuous workshop). Facilitate Continuous Improvement Transformation activities through Kaizen workshops and Small Group Activities.
- Understand and use the Center Point portal as a repository to enable data research and cost-saving efficiencies.
- Obtain training and certification in Industrial Lean and Six Sigma to become a subject matter expert within the organization.
- Availability to travel.
Experience we are looking to add to our team:
Completed Bachelors Degree or Engineering Degree.
Intermediate-advanced English.
Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing.
Experience with Minitab and SolidWorks as a plus.
Operations Management Techniques.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
Leadership.
Teamwork.
