BPA Corporate Functions Sr Analyst

As a BPA Corporate Functions Sr Analyst supporting the Corporate Functions and Ops Team you will be responsible for supporting the Business Planning and Analysis team through detailed financial analysis report development and financial forecasting. You will provide data-driven recommendations mentor team members and tackle complex challenges independently.

In this role a typical day will include:

• Assist in preparing financial reports including profit/loss analysis working capital and expense tracking
• Support the creation of financial models to evaluate potential business outcomes.
• Conduct variance analysis and recommend corrective actions
• Collaborate with business units to gather financial data for forecasting and budgeting
• Analyze internal financial data and market conditions for performance insights
• Help maintain financial performance tracking tools and reporting dashboards
• Assist in month-end close activities working with accounting on accruals and reserves
  Provide training guidance and support to junior employees enhancing team capabilities
• Handle escalated or complex issues/projects requiring cross-functional coordination and problem-solving
• Oversee projects and deliverables autonomously developing and managing improvement projects from concept to implementation

WHAT YOULL BRING TO ALCON:

• Bachelors degree in finance accounting or related analytical discipline.
• At least 3-5 years of experience in financial planning and analysis (FP&A) roles.
• Exceptional analytical abilities capable of using data tools to drive decision-making and managing large pools of data in Excel.
• In-depth knowledge of SAP & BI tools and practical experience analyzing data program metrics and performance.
• Demonstrates complex problem resolution proficiency and the ability to identify/implement process and system enhancements.
• Proactive communication style with the ability to build/foster relationships with business partners.
• Proven leadership analytical influencing and problem-solving skills combined with the ability to identify risks and impacts and possible solutions and corrective actions.
• Excellent written and verbal English skills along with quantitative interpersonal and analytical skills.
