Associate Staff Engineer System Operations Support Engineer

We are looking for an experienced System Operations Support Engineer to support a banking technology environment.

The role will primarily focus on application/system operations and job scheduling management rather than infrastructure-level support. The candidate will be responsible for managing scheduled jobs monitoring system operations troubleshooting operational issues and ensuring smooth and reliable day-to-day application operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and monitor scheduled jobs and batch processing activities.
• Create configure modify and maintain jobs using scheduling tools such as JP1 or Tivoli
• Monitor job execution and identify failed delayed or abnormal jobs.
• Perform operational troubleshooting and coordinate with relevant technical teams for issue resolution.
• Ensure scheduled processes and application operations run smoothly.
• Perform daily operational checks and monitoring activities.
• Investigate operational incidents and support timely resolution.
• Maintain operational procedures job schedules and related documentation.
• Coordinate with application development support and business teams when required.
• Support incident problem and change management activities related to system operations.

Mandatory Skills

• Experience in System Operations / Application Operations Support
• Hands-on experience with Job Scheduling and Job Management
• Experience in job creation configuration monitoring and maintenance
• Experience with scheduling tools such as: JP1 Tivoli
• Similar enterprise job scheduling tools
• Strong operational troubleshooting and monitoring skills
• Good understanding of batch processing and scheduled jobs
• English communication Mandatory
