JOB SUMMARY

Responsible for maintaining and analyzing the companys cost accounting system and work independently with general supervision from management.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Record track and reconcile accounting transactions related to fixed assets (additions disposals depreciation and amortization).
Information analysis expense review and allocation of transportation and meal expenses
Maintain accurate and up-to-date accounting records in accordance with internal policies and applicable financial standards.
Prepare financial reports and perform variance analysis related to fixed assets and assigned accounts.
Participate in monthly quarterly and annual closing processes.
Identify opportunities for continuous improvement in accounting and administrative processes.
Lead or support automation projects (using advanced Excel macros Power BI or other tools).
Propose innovative solutions to optimize processes reduce errors and strengthen internal controls.
Document processes and develop operational manuals.
Support internal and external audits.
Prepare monthly reconciliation and balance sheets.
Prepare timely reports and communication with functional areas.
Adhere to all safety and health rules and regulations associated with this position and as directed by supervisor.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS
KNOWLEDGE REQUIREMENTS

Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers clients customers and the general public.
Ability to define problems collect data establish facts and draw valid conclusions.
Ability to operate a personal computer including using a Windows based operating system and related software.
Advanced PC skills including training and knowledge of Jabils software packages.
Ability to write simple correspondence. Read and understand visual aid.
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out simple one- or two-step instructions.
Ability to deal with standardized situations with only occasional or no variables.
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions short correspondence and memos.
Ability to add subtract multiply and divide in all units of measure using whole numbers common fractions and decimals.
Ability to compute rate ratio and percent and to draw and interpret graphs.

Education:

Bachelors degree in Accounting Finance or a related field.

Experience:

25 years in finance or accounting roles.

Technical Skills:

General accounting and financial analysis.

Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables formulas ideally macros).

Visualization tools (Power BI and Tableau are a plus). ERP systems (SAP Oracle Workday etc.).

Languages:

Intermediate to advanced English (verbal and written communication skills).

Analytical thinking: Ability to interpret data and generate insights.

Proactivity: Initiative to improve processes and propose solutions.

Effective communication: Explain financial information at different levels.

Teamwork: Collaboration with cross-functional areas.

Organization and attention to detail: Data accuracy and meeting deadlines.

Adaptability: Ability to work in dynamic and changing environments.
