Mauritius-based Sustainable Finance Expert

BwB is looking to partner with a Mauritius-based Sustainable Finance Expert to contingently support an upcoming circular economy financing assignment in Mauritius.

The expert should:

• Be based in Mauritius.
• Hold a Masters degree in a relevant field.
• Have at least 10 years of demonstrable experience working with financing institutions project finance or funding mechanisms.
• Have strong expertise in sustainable finance.

Qualifications :

Experience with:

• Sustainable finance
• Financial institutions (banks DFIs development banks)
• Project finance/funding mechanisms

Highly desirable

• Circular economy financing
• Green finance / climate finance
• MSME finance
• Gender-responsive finance
• Experience working with Government of Mauritius or other Small Island Developing States (SIDS)
• Experience developing financing guidelines credit frameworks or investment criteria
• Fluency in both English and French
