Job Summary
Role
The primary technical expert responsible for ensuring excellence in service delivery through the accurate timely and compliant execution of relevant banking and payment activities. The role provides oversight of the day-to-day Banking Pool operations acts as a key escalation point for complex payment and related matters drives process improvements and supports the development of team members. This role also serves as a coordinator between the Banking Pool in Mauritius and the teams in Netherlands.
What youll do
- Youll serve as the technical expert and escalation point for complex payment and banking queries investigating and resolving incidents while ensuring adherence to technical best practices.
- Youll oversee and review payment transactions ensuring the quality accuracy timeliness and compliance of payment instructions and team deliverables with internal controls policies and payment procedures.
- Youll monitor daily payment processing activities manage workload planning and resource allocation support operational management and drive service excellence to meet internal and external service level agreements (SLAs) and deadlines.
- Youll lead and coordinate banking projects system implementations process improvements and service enhancements while identifying opportunities to improve efficiency and operational performance within the Banking Pool.
- Youll support reporting compliance performance monitoring employee evaluations invoice collection and the timely payment of annual fixed fees while collaborating with management and performing other duties to meet business needs.

Qualifications :
About you
- You hold a Bachelors degree in Accounting or a related field.
- You are ACCA qualified with an ACA qualification considered an advantage.
- You have a minimum of six years of experience in accounting banking or payment-related services.
- You possess strong technical knowledge of accounting principles banking operations and payment processes.
- You demonstrate the expertise and professional judgment required to manage complex financial banking and payment-related activities
