Marine Carpenters are responsible for delivering high-quality woodworking and joinery across vessel interiors teak decking cabinetry and custom marine fittings as well as bespoke woodwork for external clients.
The role combines traditional craftsmanship with modern precision tools to ensure exceptional standards across yacht refit repair and specialised carpentry projects.
- Fabrication and installation of wooden fixtures trims decking and decorative marine elements.
- Precision cutting shaping and fitting of marine-grade woods and materials.
- Design craft and refurbish bespoke joinery solutions for cabins galleys salons and entertainment areas.
- Restore and upgrade existing woodwork to high-end yacht and superyacht standards.
- Installation caulking sanding and finishing of teak decks.
- Removal and replacement of worn decking with precise alignment and high-quality finishing.
- Selection and use of marine-grade moisture-resistant woods and finishing products.
- Application of coatings sealants and protective finishes to ensure durability in marine environments.
- Ensure all work meets strict quality and aesthetic standards.
- Provide carpentry services for hospitality architectural and commercial projects requiring premium woodwork and marine-grade finishing standards.
- Marine Carpenters & Cabinetmakers with proven experience in yacht joinery and teak decking.
- CNC Operators for precision cutting templating and fabrication of complex components.
- Finishing Specialists skilled in varnishing polishing and marine wood treatments.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in marine carpentry yacht refit or luxury woodworking.
- Strong expertise in teak deck fabrication and installation.
- Proficiency with hand tools power tools and CNC machinery.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and templates.
