Senior Accounting Team Leader

Our client is looking for a Senior Accounting Team Leader to join their team on a full-time hybrid basis.

The selected candidate will support the accounting leader in managing a portfolio of clients across various industries while overseeing and coaching a team to ensure high-quality client deliverables.

Responsibilities:

As a Senior Accounting Team Leader your broad responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

• Assist in managing a portfolio of accounting clients across different industries.

• Act as a point of contact for client queries concerns and feedback.

• Build and maintain professional relationships with clients.

• Supervise coach and support team members.

• Review client deliverables including management accounts accounting files for audits VAT returns and payroll runs.

• Plan client work prioritise tasks and delegate responsibilities across the team.

• Promote communication collaboration and teamwork within the department.

• Contribute to business development through article writing CPE sessions and conference participation.

• Assist with department budgets monthly billing team utilisation monitoring and client profitability tracking.

Requirements:

• Fully qualified accountant.

• Minimum of 3 years of local experience in a similar role.

• Strong knowledge of VAT and payroll legislation.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Ability to build effective relationships with clients and internal teams.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and standard office tools.

• Strong organisational and time-management skills.

• Ability to prioritise tasks and manage deadlines effectively.
