QA Tester

We are looking for a QA Tester to join a technical team in Malta supporting the delivery of reliable high-quality software solutions.

This role would suit someone with a solid foundation in software testing who enjoys investigating how applications behave identifying issues and working closely with technical colleagues to improve the overall user experience.

• Carry out manual testing of software applications and new functionality.
• Prepare and execute test scenarios based on functional requirements.
• Create update and maintain clear test cases and testing documentation.
• Identify investigate and document defects ensuring issues are properly tracked through to resolution.
• Perform regression and functional testing when new features or changes are introduced.
• Work closely with developers and other technical stakeholders to clarify requirements and resolve identified issues.
• Help ensure that software releases meet expected quality standards.
• Contribute to improving testing processes and identifying opportunities to make QA activities more effective.
• Use appropriate testing and issue-tracking tools as part of the daily QA process.

• Previous professional experience in QA or software testing with at least one year of practical exposure to test execution
• Comfortable using Jira for managing and tracking testing activities and issues.
• Working knowledge of the .NET Framework ideally gained through at least one year of professional experience
• Bachelors degree in Computer Science IT or another relevant technical discipline.
• Good understanding of software testing principles and methodologies.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent attention to detail and a methodical approach to identifying issues.
• Ability to understand technical requirements and translate them into effective testing scenarios.
• Good communication and collaboration skills when working with technical teams.
• Previous exposure to automated testing tools would be considered an advantage
