Job Summary
Our client a respected automotive company with over 30 years of experience is currently seeking a Motor Vehicle Technician to join their team.
Key Responsibilities
- Diagnose repair and maintain vehicle engines and other systems including brakes steering and mechanical components.
- Dismantle assemble adjust and replace defective parts or complete engines as needed.
- Perform diagnostic tasks to identify faults and determine appropriate repair methods.
- Follow job cards and communicate progress and results to the service advisor and reception team.
- Stay updated on technical advancements and ensure all work meets the companys quality standards.
- Adhere to health and safety procedures keeping the workshop clean and hazard-free.
- Maintain workshop tools and equipment and assist other mechanics when required.
- Ensure customer satisfaction by addressing needs within your responsibility and directing them to the appropriate channels.
Requirements
- Qualification in Motor Vehicle Maintenance and Repair.
- Ability to follow established processes and procedures.
- Ability to read and understand job cards.
- Good communication skills.
- Diligence and motivation to deliver maximum performance in the workplace.
