Job Summary

Our client is a well-established organisation in Malta committed to operational excellence and delivering high-quality services. They are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Revenue & Accounts Analyst to join their Finance team and support the companys financial reporting and revenue analysis activities.

Position Summary

The Junior Revenue & Accounts Analyst will support the Finance team by analysing revenue maintaining accurate financial records assisting with accounting processes and contributing to the timely preparation of financial reports. This role is ideal for a finance professional looking to develop their career in a dynamic and collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare weekly and monthly revenue reports.
  • Analyse revenue trends and identify variances.
  • Monitor electronic payment transactions card payments online sales and other revenue streams.
  • Reconcile revenue between operational and accounting systems.
  • Support revenue assurance initiatives by identifying anomalies trends and potential revenue leakages.
  • Collaborate with internal departments to improve revenue reporting and data accuracy.
  • Record and process journal entries accurately.
  • Perform bank revenue and balance sheet reconciliations.
  • Maintain fixed asset records and assist with depreciation schedules.
  • Support month-end and year-end closing activities.
  • Assist in the preparation of financial statements and audit processes.
  • Carry out other duties related to the role as required by the business.
Requirements
  • Diploma in Finance Accounting or a related field or currently pursuing a Bachelors Degree in Finance Accounting or a related discipline.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Good understanding of accounting principles and financial procedures.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office particularly Microsoft Excel.
  • Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills.
  • Good organisational and time management abilities.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Positive attitude and willingness to learn in a fast-paced environment.
