Group Financial Controller

DFK Malta in partnership with one of our clients is seeking an experienced Group Financial Controller to oversee financial operations across a diverse group of businesses operating in air elevators industrial projects and the retail and wholesale appliance sectors.

You will join an established finance team of six accounting professionals working closely with senior management to ensure strong financial control accurate reporting and effective financial planning across the group.

• Oversee financial reporting management accounts and consolidation across group companies.
• Manage budgeting forecasting cash flow and financial performance analysis.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards tax requirements and statutory obligations.
• Oversee month-end and year-end closing reconciliations and internal controls.
• Support strategic decision-making and improve financial processes.
• Coordinate with auditors and external stakeholders.
• Provide leadership and guidance to the finance team.

• Degree in Accounting Finance or a related field; a professional qualification such as ACCA CPA or ACA is an advantage.
• Proven experience in a Financial Controller Group Financial Controller or similar senior finance role.
• Strong knowledge of financial reporting budgeting and financial controls.
• Excellent analytical organisational and leadership skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work closely with management.
• Currently based in Malta.
