As one of Hulhumalés most anticipated hotel openings Manhattan Grand Hotel is set to become the preferred choice for business travelers holidaymakers and city dwellers seeking sophistication comfort and peace of mind.

We are currently seeking a Plumber to join our pre-opening team at Manhattan Grand Hotel. This role is responsible for the installation maintenance and repair of plumbing systems throughout the hotel ensuring reliable water supply drainage and sanitary systems that support uninterrupted guest comfort and hotel operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install maintain and repair plumbing systems pipework fixtures and fittings across guest rooms public areas kitchens and back-of-house facilities.
• Conduct routine inspections of water supply drainage and sanitary systems to identify and resolve leaks blockages or faults.
• Respond promptly to plumbing breakdowns guest room issues and emergency call-outs minimising disruption to guests and operations.
• Perform preventive maintenance on pumps water heaters water treatment systems and pipework in line with the maintenance schedule.
• Read and interpret plumbing drawings schematics and technical manuals to guide installation and repair work.
• Ensure all plumbing work is carried out in compliance with applicable safety codes regulations and Hotel standards.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities repairs and parts usage.
• Coordinate with the Engineering Supervisor and Chief Engineer on project work renovations and specialised installations.
• Liaise with external contractors and utility providers for specialised repairs or statutory inspections as required.
• Ensure compliance with the Hotels brand standards health and safety regulations and Standard Operating Procedures.

To excel in this role you should have:

• Minimum 23 years of experience as a Plumber preferably within a hotel resort or commercial facilities environment.
• Recognised trade qualification or certification in Plumbing or a related discipline.
• Strong working knowledge of water supply drainage and sanitary systems and applicable safety regulations.
• Ability to read and interpret plumbing drawings and technical specifications.
• Experience with water heaters pumps and water treatment systems will be considered an advantage.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently.
• Good physical fitness with the ability to work in confined spaces as required.
• Flexibility to work rotating shifts and respond to emergency call-outs as required.
