Job Summary
We are Sisco Jobs a recruitment consultancy based in Trichy Tamil Nadu. We are hiring on behalf of our client for the position of Pastry Chef in Maldives. Our client is a reputed organization in the Hospitality sector seeking skilled motivated professionals. If you meet the requirements below apply early as positions are limited.
- Prepare cakes pastries breads and dessert items.
- Decorate and present baked products to quality standards.
- Maintain hygiene and food safety practices in the kitchen.
- Monitor ingredient quality and freshness.
- Assist in menu planning and seasonal dessert creation.
- Ensure consistency in taste appearance and portion control.
- Coordinate with kitchen staff for timely production.
- Maintain inventory of baking ingredients and supplies.
- Pastry Production Knowledge of pastries cakes and desserts.
- Baking Techniques Ability to operate bakery equipment effectively.
- Cake Decoration Experience in finishing and presentation.
- Food Safety Understanding of hygiene standards.
- Hospitality Service Commitment to quality guest experiences.
- Chocolate and confectionery preparation
- Dessert menu innovation
- Inventory and stock management
Previous experience as a Pastry Chef or Baker is preferred. Typical experience range: 15 years in bakery pastry hotel resort or hospitality environments.
- Minimum: High School Diploma or equivalent (preferred)
- Preferred: Diploma/Certificate in Bakery & Pastry Arts
- Additional: Food Safety Certification

Guest Handling & Customer Service Front Office Operations Communication Skills (English & Tamil) Problem Solving & Service Recovery Attention to Detail Multitasking & Coordination Basic Computer Knowledge (PMS systems preferred)
Required Education:
High school diploma or equivalent; hospitality certification is an added advantageStrong verbal communication skills with a customer-first mindsetAbility to work flexible shifts including weekends and holidaysPhysically active role requiring standing and movement for extended periodsBasic understanding of hotel operations is preferred but not mandatoryPositive attitude with willingness to learn and grow in the hospitality industry
