Conduct inspections diagnostics preventive maintenance troubleshooting and repairs on pumping systems and a wide range of mechanical equipment.
Lead supervise and develop a team of mechanics and technicians to achieve departmental objectives and performance targets.
Develop and implement Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) maintenance standards and continuous improvement initiatives.
Analyze equipment performance and recommend engineering solutions to improve reliability efficiency and operational effectiveness.
Ensure compliance with safety regulations company policies and industry best practices.
Promote a strong safety culture and maintain a safe and productive workshop environment.
Coordinate with internal departments and external contractors to ensure timely completion of maintenance activities.
Requirements
Bachelors Degree in Mechanical Engineering or an equivalent qualification from a recognized university.
Minimum of five (5) years experience in a reputable organization preferably with experience leading and supervising technical teams.
Strong technical knowledge of pumping systems including installation operation troubleshooting maintenance and repair.
Sound understanding of mechanical systems workshop operations and preventive maintenance practices.
Proficiency in modern engineering software maintenance management systems and digital technologies used to improve operational efficiency.
Excellent communication leadership analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities in a dynamic operational environment.
