Job Summary
We are Sisco Jobs a recruitment consultancy based in Trichy Tamil Nadu. We are hiring on behalf of our client for the position of Chef in Maldives. Our client is a reputed organization in the Hospitality & Tourism sector seeking skilled motivated professionals. If you meet the requirements below apply early as positions are limited.
- Prepare and cook high-quality dishes according to standards.
- Plan menus and ensure consistency in food presentation.
- Monitor food quality hygiene and kitchen safety procedures.
- Manage food inventory and coordinate stock replenishment.
- Supervise kitchen assistants and support staff.
- Maintain cleanliness and compliance with food safety regulations.
- Control food costs and minimize wastage.
- Coordinate with management to improve guest satisfaction.
- Culinary Arts Professional food preparation and cooking techniques.
- Food Safety Knowledge of hygiene and sanitation standards.
- Menu Planning Ability to create and manage menu offerings.
- Inventory Management Efficient stock monitoring and ordering.
- Kitchen Operations Daily kitchen workflow and coordination.
- International cuisine experience.
- Hospitality industry exposure.
- Team leadership abilities.
Previous experience in professional kitchen operations is preferred. Typical experience range for this role is 25 years in hotels resorts restaurants or hospitality establishments.
- Minimum: Diploma in Hotel Management / Culinary Arts (Typical)
- Preferred: Degree in Hospitality Management or Culinary Arts
- Additional: Food Safety Certifications
Required Skills:
Guest Handling & Customer Service Front Office Operations Communication Skills (English & Tamil) Problem Solving & Service Recovery Attention to Detail Multitasking & Coordination Basic Computer Knowledge (PMS systems preferred)
Required Education:
High school diploma or equivalent; hospitality certification is an added advantageStrong verbal communication skills with a customer-first mindsetAbility to work flexible shifts including weekends and holidaysPhysically active role requiring standing and movement for extended periodsBasic understanding of hotel operations is preferred but not mandatoryPositive attitude with willingness to learn and grow in the hospitality industry
