Job Summary
We are Sisco Jobs a recruitment consultancy based in Trichy Tamil Nadu. We are hiring on behalf of our client for the position of Agricultural Lab Assistant in Maldives. Our client is a reputed organization in the agriculture/laboratory sector seeking skilled motivated professionals. If you meet the requirements below apply early as positions are limited.
- Assist with receiving labeling preparing and maintaining agricultural samples for laboratory analysis.
- Support routine testing of soil plant water fertilizer and other agricultural samples as required.
- Operate and maintain basic laboratory instruments and equipment according to established procedures.
- Record test observations measurements sample information and laboratory results accurately.
- Prepare laboratory solutions reagents glassware and testing materials under appropriate supervision.
- Maintain cleanliness and proper organization of laboratory work areas and equipment.
- Follow laboratory safety hygiene quality-control and sample-handling procedures.
- Assist laboratory personnel with documentation inventory management and routine laboratory activities.
- Laboratory Sample Preparation Ability to handle and prepare agricultural samples for testing.
- Basic Agricultural Testing Familiarity with routine soil plant water or related laboratory testing.
- Laboratory Equipment Handling Ability to use basic laboratory instruments safely.
- Data Recording Accurate documentation of samples measurements observations and results.
- Laboratory Safety Understanding of safe handling cleanliness PPE and laboratory procedures.
- Basic knowledge of soil science plant science or agricultural chemistry.
- Familiarity with laboratory quality-control procedures.
- Basic computer and laboratory record-management skills.

A typical Agricultural Lab Assistant role may require entry-level to approximately 2 years of relevant laboratory agricultural testing soil-testing or related experience. - Minimum (Typical): Diploma/Bachelors degree in Agriculture Agricultural Science Chemistry Biology Biotechnology Soil Science or a related discipline.

Required Skills:
Bachelors degree in Agriculture Business Administration Marketing Economics or a related field. Proven experience in market research preferably in the agricultural sector. Strong understanding of agricultural equipment and machinery particularly tractor attachments. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport and establish relationships with farmers and suppliers. Proficiency in Tamil and English languages both written and verbal. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and manage multiple tasks effectively. Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy. Flexibility to travel extensively within Tamil Nadu as required.
