As a Technical Sales Engineer - Malaysia/Singapore you will be responsible for the efficient handling of technical queries for all Copeland products from customers field personnel and internal colleagues. Conducting training on application and installation and new products will be a key part of the job. Business development via developing and delivering technical solution Inspired by customer needs pain points thru daily interaction with customers & market will be another key part of the job.
Responsibilities:
Acquire and maintain proficiency in all Copeland products and services particularly system design and operation.
Provide technical support during the specification and design process
Provide support and take ownership on customer product lab test in third party test lab as well as Copeland test lab.
Assist in selecting the appropriate Copeland product for the customer based on requirements and objectives
Conduct product demonstrations when required and answer any technical sales questions during the sales process
Organize training material and conduct technical seminars on product application and installation.
Provide ongoing technical support throughout the product lifecycle when necessary and respond to technical inquiries in a prompt professional and courteous manner.
Stay updated on industry trends regulation and new technologies in the HVACR sector
Support the installation commissioning and troubleshooting of HVACR systems with Copeland product visit sites as required to review systems and diagnose problems.
Provide tangible application and commissioning supports state-of-the-art solutions to the customers using Copeland Oil Free Centrifugal compressor Copeland Variable Speed and integration solution products
Communicate andshare knowledge / experiences internally
Identifyand support any opportunities for upsellcross-sell and land new customers
Provide support to customers outside of Malaysia and Singapore as needed
Perform related duties as assigned by the Supervisor
Requirements:
University degree or equivalent in Engineering minimum five (5) years air-conditioning and refrigeration (HVAC/R) industry system development experience
Excellent hands-on technical knowledge of compressors including variable & fixed speed system design electrical systems including inverter driver controllers and trouble shooting
Knowledge in oil free compressors and system development
Good written and oral English skills
Solid computer skills including MS Office Internet software E-mail Windows
Excellent spreadsheet knowledge required
Excellent planning organizing and prioritizing skills
Attention to detail and an eye for errors
Able to communicate with all levels within the organization
Able to learn and work independently whilst still working as an integral part of the team
Legal authorization to work in the country of employment (Malaysia) sponsorship will not be provided.
This position will be employed through Pebl Copelands Employer of Record (EOR) / Professional Employer Organization (PEO) partner in Malaysia while working full-time and exclusively for Copeland.
