Job Summary
- Assist in gathering and analyzing business requirements from stakeholders.
- Analyse and evaluate current systems and workflows to identify opportunities for improvement or optimization.
- Assist in evaluating change requests and assessing their impact on scope timeline and system functionality.
- Translate requirements into functional and technical specifications.
- Prepare and maintain project documentation schedules and reports.
- Collaborate with developers to ensure system solutions meet business expectations.
- Support creation of system flowcharts wireframes and diagrams.
- Assist in system and UI/UX design including mock-ups and prototypes.
- Coordinate and participate in various testing phases (unit integration UAT) and obtain business sign-off before production deployment.
- Prepare training materials and support end-users during rollout.
- Help monitor system deployments address bugs and track resolution status.
- Investigate reported issues perform root cause analysis and work with developers to provide timely resolutions.
- Maintain ClickUp task boards and track team progress.
- Support version control (e.g. GitHub) and basic coding tasks when required.
- Stay current with technology and design trends to recommend improvements.
- Ensure documentation is up to date with system changes and improvements.
- Bachelors Degree in Information Technology Computer Science or related field.
- 13 years experience in system analysis software development or IT project coordination.
- Strong understanding of system development lifecycle (SDLC).
- Experience writing Business Requirement Documents (BRD) Functional Specification Documents (FSD) User Stories or Software Requirement Specifications (SRS).
- Ability to understand and design workflows using tools like BPMN (Business Process Model and Notation).
- Understanding of software testing methodologies and test case preparation.
- Basic understanding of programming languages like PHP Laravel or can be useful to understand developer constraints and communicate effectively.
- Familiar with project/task management tools (e.g. ClickUp Jira).
- Basic experience with UI/UX tools (e.g. Figma Adobe XD) is a plus.
- Exposure to version control systems (e.g. GitHub).
- Strong analytical problem-solving organizational and attention-to-detail skills.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills both written and verbal.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple projects and priorities effectively.
Required Skills:
Bachelors or Masters Degree in Computer Science or equivalent 3-5 years of experience in web-based enterprise software development Proficient in SQL C# MS SQL Database RESTful API HTML5 AJAX CSS JSON MVC LINQ Git JavaScript jQuery Bootstrap Good understanding and application of tools principles concepts and techniques related to requirements data usability and process analysis Excellent time management skills and ability to work within a rapidly changing environment Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with the ability to work independently and drive to improve existing business processes and procedures Good communication (oral written presentation) interpersonal and consultative skills Good team player with excellent work ethic Ability to work with various senior stakeholders Desire to learn new technologies and skills Deliver high-quality projects independently with minimal assistance Proficiency in operating measurement instruments is an added advantage Experience working in Agile/Scrum development process Experience with performance and/or security testing Experience with Eggplant test automation tool is a plus Experience with JIRA issue tracker is a plus Problem solving skill and good communication skill Strong analytical thinking skills with the ability to work independently Positive thinking and good self-discipline Applicants must be Malaysian citizens or hold relevant residence status
